About Anni Huang
Mandarin Linguist
An avid traveler, commercial pilot, and flight instructor, Anni was born in Tianjin, China, and grew up in Illinois. Anni holds a dual degree in Accounting and International Business, and an MBA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Her study abroad experience in college helped shape her adventurous mind. Upon graduation, she spent a few months backpacking through Southeast Asia and gained a deeper appreciation of different cultures. She also spent a year traveling and living full-time in an RV around the United States.
Anni was first introduced to the Polar Region in 2017 and immediately fell in love. Prior to joining Quark Expeditions, she worked as Marketing Manager for Coca-Cola and Procurement Analyst for The Boeing Company.
She loves animals and is passionate about saving the environment. On her days off, you can find Anni backcountry camping, fishing, scuba diving, or flying the blue skies. She also likes to play piano and drums.
Anni loves to watch guests enjoy the natural beauty of the Polar Regions and fulfill once-in-a-lifetime dream.
