Emilie Savoie

Expedition Guide, Polar Boutique Manager

Emilie grew up on the Acadian coast of New Brunswick in Atlantic Canada, where she completed a Mechanical Engineering degree and is currently working on a master’s in Environmental Studies. Her academic background, which goes beyond the boundaries of books, allows her a broader understanding of the world, and the ecosystems that surround her. Emilie is fluent in French, English and Chiac (Acadian French).

From an early age, Emilie developed a strong sense of adventure and quickly found her passion for outdoor activities and protecting the environment. With her curiosity, her motivation, and her contagious energy, she navigates through life always looking for new challenges. Her hobbies have turned into a lifestyle and have led her to become interested in climatology and all the elements that create the perfect adventure conditions, from perfect waves to perfect snowstorms. She strongly believes that spending time outdoors can help restore our human connection to the natural environment. In her spare time, you can find Emilie surfing in the North Atlantic Ocean, skiing in the Appalachians, mountain biking across the Atlantic Provinces, or enjoying a cold beer with a great community of outdoor enthusiasts if the conditions just aren’t right.
