About Liam Ogle
Expedition Guide
For the last fifteen years, Liam’s passion for wild places has taken him to six continents and over twenty-one countries. With over a decade of professional guiding experience, Liam is in his element deep in the heart of the Polar Regions, experiencing unique landscapes and unbelievable wildlife.
Liam is certified with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, and studied Coastal Adventure Tourism at North Island College. He is a professional sailor and explorer whose patience and awareness for safety has molded him into a passionate guide and outdoor educator.
Liam resides in the small coastal community of Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island, Canada. Most of his time is spent running his own trekking tour business and sailing a classic wooden schooner on expeditions into the Great Bear Rainforest. When he is not busy guiding, Liam can be found leisurely drinking coffee and surfing at his home, or walking his dog on the beach.
