About Todd Weisbrot
Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Todd migrated west and discovered a love of the ocean and the environment. He proudly calls the beautiful islands of Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, home.
In 2013, Todd obtained a Bachelor of Tourism Management from Thompson Rivers University. Shortly after, he began his new career in the marine tourism industry. Combining his passion for self-propelled vessels with his love of the ocean and the environment has enabled Todd to enjoy a career guiding in some of the most spectacular places on earth. He has explored many areas along the coast of British Columbia, working in the realm of the whales, specifically the northern resident killer whales and humpback whales of the Broughton Archipelago. Working as a naturalist and kayak guide has fostered a keen interest in marine conservation through education and awareness.
When he is not kayaking or exploring the wilderness, Todd can be found golfing, cycling, hiking, cruising around on his stand-up paddleboard or watching his beloved Edmonton Oilers hockey team.
Todd has been working with Quark Expeditions since 2015. He strives to provide a fun, educational and unique experience to everyone he guides and looks forward to sharing adventures with you.
