About Michael (Mick) Levin
Mick is an adventurer, lawyer and economist who helps organizations make better environmental decisions. He has consulted on marine protected area policies, critiqued oil spill response plans, audited endangered species recovery strategies, and delivered seminars on marine plastics and the effects of tidal electricity generation on marine life. Rock and ice climbing have taken him to dozens of countries around the world, and he has shared his passion for human-powered, sustainable recreation in wild places by serving on the executive of Climb Nova Scotia since 2008. An all-weather cycle commuter and lover of Type 2 fun, Mick has circumnavigated Iceland by bicycle and enjoys paddling expeditions in both fresh- and saltwater.
