About Michelle Reid
Sea Kayak Guide
Michelle is an outdoor guide, educator and all-round adventure seeker. Her career has enabled her to work in awe-inspiring places all over the world, and she has shared her passion for wilderness areas for almost two decades. As an expedition
guide and kayak guide, she loves to be on the water to facilitate the magic that occurs when interacting with the polar environment. An absolute coffee addict, Michelle is high energy, quick to smile and keen to share a laugh. When not exploring the Polar Regions, she supports her colleagues full time as Manager of Expedition Staff Engagement and Development.
Before she began working with Quark in the Arctic and Antarctica, Michelle lived and taught high school in a remote community in Canada’s far north and led multiday expeditions with Outward Bound Canada. Attracted to wild and remote areas, her free time is spent exploring her backyard and the high tides of the Bay of Fundy with her family and friends.
