About Laurie Di Vincenzo
Laurie joined Quark Expeditions 6 years ago with a background in marine logistics and operations management, having worked for a tall ship sail-training organization based in her homeport, Toronto. Since that time, she has guided 70 trips to the Polar Regions and feels most at home on a Zodiac, searching for wildlife, or on a hike over the tundra.
During the off-season, you’ll likely find Laurie with a book or passport in hand, either traveling to new destinations or returning to her much-loved family cottage on the waters of Lake Simcoe, Ontario.
As your Expedition Leader, Laurie aims to help you discover the overwhelming beauty and power that these remote landscapes have to offer. She will work with the captain to read the weather and ice, determine distances to be traveled and, ultimately, provide you with a trip of a lifetime. Deeply touched by the arctic landscape and bountiful wildlife, she looks forward to exploring with all who join on board!
